My favorite Tattle-Tale

So my kids love to tattle on each other, and all the neighbors. I'll hear them tell the person that wronged them that they are going to tell on them. And then they come to me with that whiny sing-song voice that can just be so irritating. Usually, I tell them not to tattle and that they need to work things out on their own, so they go back and beat the snot out of the one that hurt them. Sometimes, I legitimately have to step in and help out, but not normally.
But, I do have to say that my favorite tattle that my kids come to me with, and I really think all four have done it is, "Mom, he hit me back."
