Go Annie!

Yep! My baby is potty trained. For the first time in over 8 years I have no children in diapers! I was absolutely adamant that Annie not be potty trained until she was older (she's 2 1/2), especially after all of Abby and Hannah's UTI's. I just didn't want to deal with it. But Annie decided she wanted to wear panties all the time. She had one pair and wanted to wear that same pair every day which forced me to go buy her more, which led to the purchase of treats for pottying, and now countless trips to the bathroom every day because she has a peanut sized bladder (she gets that from her Grandpa Dale). But she is so good. She tells me when she needs to go and often tries to do it all by herself, however, she doesn't wipe and walks out of the bathroom, beaming, but dripping pee down her leg. Kinda gross.
She is so very proud of herself. She brags to everyone she sees about her new trick, the workers at Walmart, family, neighbors, nursery teachers... My favorite was when she told her Aunt Koe that she went poop on the toilet. Koe exclaimed so very gushingly, "You did? That's MY favorite place to go too. I love going on the toilet!" I LOL'ed about that one as she went on and on making Annie feel so cool about her new skill.
Way to go Annie!

No surprise that she is wearing this purple dress in this pic. She wears that thing at least 3-4 times a week. I don't know why I bother buying her new clothes, because it is always the hand-me-downs that she loves best, especially this one!
